About Us

Who are we?

Established in 2018, The Quran Hub® is the UK’s first registered non-profit Islamic organisation dedicated to providing affordable, structured, and high-quality Qur’ān & Islamic Studies tuition online. Our methodology, developed by educators and specialists with 20+ years of Maktab experience, is designed to empower students and enhance their Islamic education.

Recognising the growing demand from parents for qualified, experienced teachers with strong communication and motivational skills, we ensure that all our tutors are competent, engaging and focused on delivering a personalised learning experience.

During the unprecedented times of COVID-19, the demand for accessible Islamic education surged, and our flexible online lessons became an essential resource for Muslim families across the UK. Today, we continue to provide and proud to offer a trusted, high-quality, and structured Islamic learning experience, ensuring every child has access to a Madrāsah experience from the comfort of their home—particularly for those in areas with limited access to Masjids or Maktabs.

Why choose The Quran Hub?

What sets The Quran Hub apart from other Islamic institutions is our innovative approach to one-to-one learning and the offering of flexible online lessons. Parents can choose the days, times and subjects that are convenient for their child, allowing for a more tailored learning experience. Our unique approach to online one-to-one tuition delivers a range of benefits, such as individualised attention and direct mentorship from our skilled tutors, progress tracking, in addition to promoting Tarbiyah (nurturing) and instilling strong foundation in Islamic principles.

We understand that in today’s fast-paced world, parents juggle demanding responsibilities while children face increasing academic pressures. This often makes it difficult to commit to daily in-person Maktab lessons, which require additional travel and long classroom hours. Despite these challenges, parents still recognise the importance of connecting their children to their Islamic identity and ensuring they develop a strong foundation in faith.

The Quran Hub bridges this gap by bringing after-school Islamic education to your home. Instead of attending lengthy two-hour group classes, students benefit from concise yet highly effective 30-40 minutes sessions, two to three times a week. These lessons condense the core teachings of traditional Maktabs, ensuring that students grasp essential Islamic knowledge without feeling overwhelmed.

How we work?

Typically, these sessions are designed with a minimum of half-hour intervals conducted three days a week, culminating a weekly total of at least 1.5 hours or more of effective learning. Our curriculum covers various facets, from learning how to recite the Qur’ān fluently with incorporation of the rules of Tajweed, to memorisation of essential masnoon Duʿās & Sūrahs, alongside Islamic Studies, which encompasses Aqeedah (Theology), Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), Tārīkh/Sīrah (History/Prophetic biography), Tafseer (Qur’ānic Commentary), Ādāb & Akhlāq (Manners & Etiquettes), Aḥadīth (authentic sayings and narrations of the Prophet ﷺ) and more, ensuring a well-rounded education of their deen.

We strive to strike a balance between academic commitments and Islamic education, providing one-to-one lessons through our qualified and professional tutors, to help children excel in both areas.

Importance of finding the right teacher for your child

Our Standard Learning Structure

At The Quran Hub, we focus on tailoring your child’s learning with an expert tutor. However in order for your child to gain the most benefit from our proven methodology of teaching, we recommend our structured 3-day timetable.

Many students leave Madrasah before the tender age of 13 due to academic commitments, and therefore have no opportunity to learn their deen. Our focus will be to balance your child’s academic and Islamic Studies through delivering tailored one-to-one lessons, at your convenience.

Example timetable for your child:

You can select a fixed period, adaptable to your child’s timetable, over three days weekday OR two days weekend period. For example:

Monday - 4:30pm Tuesday - 4:30pm Wednesday - 4:30pm
Qāi’dah/Qur’ān & Du'ās Qāi’dah/Qur’ān & Du'ās Du'ās, Sūrahs & Islamic Studies

Saturday - 11:30am Sunday - 11:30am
Qāi’dah/Qur’ān & Du'ās Du'ās, Sūrahs & Islamic Studies

Why is The Quran Hub unique?

At The Quran Hub, we have a designated online quality control team to ensure your child is progressing at a consistent level.

We want to help parents empower their children to excel in deen by offering the best possible nurturing and Islamic education, all while ensuring a cost-effective approach for families without compromising on quality. For instance, with our Standard Package, the recommended fees per family are as follows (prices may vary based on tutor preferences and the number of days booked):

  • One child – £70 per month
  • Two children – £130 per month*
  • Three children – £190 per month*

With the above example on one of our package's fee structure above, each child will have three 30-minutes lessons OR two 45-minutes lessons in a week, totalling to 12 lessons in a month. The monthly fee/amount is based upon 42 weeks of the academic year. The cost is then spread out between 12 months of the full year. Breakdown of the fees is based on the package you choose here. When compared to the amount spent for academic tuition and other worldly gains, this is an exceedingly small fee.**

Parent information on fees

Please note the above fees are fixed; charged for one-to-one basis only. Aside from our Provisional Package for Hifdh class, we do not cater for group learning on our fixed packages, as we strongly believe a child can progress and prosper with the tutor’s full attention.

To ensure fairness for both our tutor's and the parent's financial circumstances alike, we DO NOT provide/negotiate any discounts that is lower then the above proposed fees (already discounted). This is so to ensure that all our tutors get fair pay. Therefore, we kindly request that when applying, any requests for further discounts are not made as they will not be accepted.
