The benefits of having a one-to-one tutor is to be able to provide individual attention for your child that is tailored to their learning needs. We can get to work on your child’s learning through improvising on their strengths and weaknesses. A parent can be satisfied with frequent learning feedback that will contribute to progression in their learning.
At The Quran Hub, we aim to make our fees affordable for parents. You can find the prices of our packages on our Student Application page.
Based on your chosen package, each child will have three 30/40-minutes lessons in a week, totalling an average of 12 lessons in a month. The monthly fee/amount is based upon 40 weeks of teaching throughout the academic year. The annual cost is then spread out between 12 months of the full year.
A small discount is applied for families with more than one sibling taught by the same tutor only, with upto 3 siblings in total. For more information on our fees or a breakdown on the prices, please check our fees policy here.

We offer refunds for lessons that your child is unable to attend, provided that a 24-hour notice is given to the tutor or administration. If a rescheduling attempt is made but the tutor is unable to accommodate a later session, you will be refunded for the missed lesson. Additionally, if a tutor cancels a lesson due to personal reasons and confirms they cannot reschedule, you will also be eligible for a refund.

If you are unsure of your child’s current level of learning, we’re able to take a trial assessment to ensure your child gets to the right level of the learning intended for them. You can book the Trial/Assessment lesson going here and clicking the button on the page.
The Quran Hub gives the freedom to the parents to choose from our wide range of tutors. Simply read their profile and choose your preferred tutor. If you require any assistance on choosing your child’s tutor, you can reach out to us on the Contact form above, in the 'Message' section of the Student Application form or alternatively via WhatsApp, and our dedicated team will guide you to the most suitable tutor for your child.
As much as we would love to accommodate all applicants, we must work within our current means. Therefore, completion of the application form doesn’t guarantee a spot; successful applicants will be contacted via email to enrol formally on our madrasa programme. Priority are given to those who have paid our Admissions Fee as they will be added to our 'Waiting List'.
Upon successful enrolment, you will receive a prospectus with the relevant policies & procedures. Should you wish to see other more general policies, please check our About page or ask a member of the administration team.
Fees are paid directly to our business account, eithier via a Standing Order set up by yourself or through Direct Debit.
An email is sent out with all the details once your child is enrolled with us, with the relevant information on paying your fees. The 'Reference' for your payment transfer, would be 'TQH' followed by your child's Student ID (e.g. TQH A001), which will be used to track your payments every month. For monthly advance Standing Orders, we kindly request for fees to be paid within the 1st week of every month.

The tuition fee is classed as donations (sadaqah) for the madrasa programme which covers:
Any remaining balance is utilised in the running costs for the day-to-day functioning of The Quran Hub. Our fees are not for profit and are entirely used to serve the Muslim community through our organisation.

Yes, you are able to change your tutor if you are not satisfied with your current tutor. Please contact us directly via WhatsApp so we can help choose the right tutor for your child.
Yes, in accordance with Islamic guidelines on mahram and non-mahram, once a child reaches 12-15 years of age, they must transition to a tutor of the same gender. Tutors will typically express concerns when necessary, but parents may also reach out to the Admin Team for assistance in arranging the transition.
We provide 30 or 40 minutes one-to-one sessions, which should equate to a minimum 1.5 hours per week. Days and times are chosen by you depending on the availability of your preferred tutor. You can see the packages we offer on our Student Application page.
While we encourage an independent learning environment that helps the tutor manage the lesson more effectively for your child, parents may supervise lessons in specific circumstances, such as, if the child is very young and requires assistance with technical aspects OR monitoring the first few lessons with a new tutor to assess their interaction.
For female tutors, we recommend that a female family member supervises, as some tutors may not be comfortable with non-mahram males present. If only one parent is available and is a non-mahram, we request that they remain outside the tutor’s line of sight, such as sitting beside the device rather than directly in front.

Yes, our enrolment emails will include the books your child will need and you will need to be sourcing books for both the Qur’ānic & Islamic Studies portion, from our partners Safar Publications, and they will be available to parents/guardians at cost price. You are free to purchase them through us also but there will be an additional Service Charge.

Our syllabus is based on Safar Publications; providing a robust and comprehensive curriculum to equip learners with the necessary knowledge and tools to develop a deep-rooted love and relationship with Islām. Through understanding and embodying the Qur’ān & Sunnah, children can learn to fulfil their religious rites and duties in an informed manner. And through a focus on personal development, they grow to make moral choices and decisions as confident law-abiding Muslims living in a globalised and modern world. No, unless agreed by the tutor to cover missed lessons during the academic term, that were rescheduled for the the holiday period; we operate in accordance to the academic calendar with the local term dates listed here. Classes will pause for Winter Break, leading into and during Ramaḍān, with a break for ʿEid-al-Fitr, ʿEid-al-Adha and the Summer Break. A madrasa calendar will be distributed upon enrolment. Our online lessons are facilitated through Zoom or Google Meets, registered part of their Education Program as a verified organisation. To conduct our teaching, we utilise the Journey2Jannah application. This comprehensive platform incorporates interactive videos, online activities, educational games, rewards, and an array of engaging features designed to enhance the learning experience for our students.
We are committed to ensuring a safe learning environment. To achieve this, we require camera-on lessons for active engagement, employ qualified and DBS-certified tutors, and train our educators in digital compliance & e-safety measures. Your data and your child's personal information is protected in accordance with GDPR guidelines and are regulated by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We maintain a secure virtual environment, uphold a clear Code of Conduct, and provide reporting mechanisms for any concerns. These measures collectively ensure your child's safety and well-being throughout their educational journey with us.
At The Quran Hub, we aim to deliver quality education side by side with tarbiyyah. Our online staff and students have a set protocol to adhere to when it comes to uniform. Our aim of having a uniform policy is to instil etiquettes in our learners, with the intention of acting upon the Sunnah dress code of the prophet ﷺ. Our uniform guide can be found here.
Yes! You can try your first point of contact which would be your child's designated tutor, and speak to them briefly at the beginning or end of each session. You will be given a phone number to contact us during working hours, along with an email for us and the tutor working with your child.
To ensure quality control and strong ethics in studies, our objective is to create a fun learning, Islamic environment. As an online educational provider, traditional in-person parental meetings are not conducted. Instead, we offer termly progress reports that highlight your child's advancements. Furthermore, our rigorous evaluation system, overseen by our educators, encompasses assessments for achieved targets and proficiency levels across various educational materials. This approach is designed to ensure that your child attains and upholds the standards we have set.
Part of our hiring process is that all teachers and staff involved in teaching undergo comprehensive screening procedures, including an enhanced DBS check, in addition to safeguarding and conduct training. We only hire tutors with eligibility of Right to Work (RTW) from the UK that have academic qualifications. This rigorous approach guarantees the expertise and safety of our teaching staff.
You will be provided with the tutor's contact on your child's enrolment email and communication will be limited to feedback of your child’s progress, reports or rescheduling any lessons.
Any admin related queries such as fees or complaints etc, should be directed to us via our phone number or email, and will be managed by the appropriate department accordingly.
Once your child finishes a certain topic in their books such as a level or a target, they will be booked in for an assessment by their tutor. An online assessment will be conducted with a specialist subject teacher in which will evaluate their progress, and progression will be recorded for the student to progress to the next level.
If you wish to discontinue your child’s tuition, you are required to provide a 4-week notice in accordance with our Tuition Service Agreement you signed. This allows us to process the necessary administrative tasks, including recalculating attended weeks against paid monthly fees and issuing any adjustments, such as final invoices or refunds where applicable.
